Your child’s DENTAL HOME
We
offer a full range of
dental services for infants,
children, and adolescents including those with special needs. The
following
information may be helpful to you prior to your child’s first visit
but should
you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call the office.
Your
child’s first visit
will be for a structured
consultation appointment. Included in the appointment will be; a
complex
medical / dental history, oral examination, assessment of growth
and
development,
oral hygiene assessment / instruction and dietary assessment / advice as
related to
oral health. Due to the complex nature of this consultation, it will be
necessary for at least one parent, or ideally both, to attend
with the
child. No
treatment will be provided at this visit. It may be necessary to take
radiographs in order to finalise the treatment plan and when possible
this will be done at this consultation appointment. Your child
will be assessed
and a
strategy devised which best suits your child’s individual needs.
Fees
are always payable on
the day of the appointment and
methods available are: eftpos, credit card, cheque and cash.
If you have private dental insurance then you
will be able to claim a rebate from your insurer. All details of
insurance
should be discussed directly with your insurance company.
Should
you need to cancel
or reschedule this appointment
then we require 48 hours notice in order that someone from our
extensive
waiting list may be accommodated. If notice is not forthcoming then a
cancellation fee may apply.
